Job Title: PHP Developer Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 12+ months Job Responsibilities: Understand requirements, implement solutions, and provide tools and documentation Perform scheduled on-call duties Participate in design and code reviews Maintain and enhance existing development processes to ensure code performance and scalability Provide accurate estimates, regular feedback, and meet project deadlines Explain complex ideas to non-technical team members Write and modify code for eight or more hours a day Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Four years of professional object-oriented PHP 5 experience, including MVC frameworks Knowledge of unit testing and its benefits Attention to detail Software testing and design experience Established portfolio of work and code samples Preferred Qualifications: Experience with modern HTML5, HTML, and CSS markup Team-oriented experience Experience with Symfony Framework (preferred but not required)
