The candidate would join a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.
KD’s Labor and Employment practice includes employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage and hour defense, as well as traditional employment law matters. Responsibilities: Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution. Participate in and oversee written discovery, take and defend depositions, engage in motion practice and oral arguments, and participate in trials. Qualifications: JD from an ABA-accredited Law School. Admitted to practice in Texas. Experience in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour, and employment contracts. Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes. Experience advising on workplace law issues, employee relations, risk mitigation, ADA accommodations, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment policies is beneficial. Outstanding research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.
