The Solar Consultant's primary role is to evangelize our Solar solution to residential homeowners at their doorstep. They promote our reputation, analyze costs of inaction, and help homeowners access available resources and incentives. The goal is to build trust, educate homeowners about energy risks, and set appointments for enrollment. We do not sell door-to-door; instead, we pique interest and facilitate the decision-making process for seasoned consultants. Requirements:
At least one year in Residential Solar Sales with self-generated and company-generated closing experience. If not experienced, consider the Outside Solar Appointment Setter role. Comfortable canvassing neighborhoods for qualified solar appointments. Ability to walk several miles daily during cold contacts. Entry-level talent encouraged; sales experience is a plus. Full-time availability (minimum 30 hours/week), including evenings and Saturdays. Active driver's license and reliable transportation. Willing to undergo training, memorize scripts, and work in a target-driven environment. Compensation:
Estimated $130,000-$150,000 annually, including advances, commissions, and bonuses. Paid weekly based on appointment setting participation. Revenue-share bonuses based on installation milestones.
