A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney to join its growing estate planning, conservatorship, litigation, and trust/estate administration practice. This position will provide significant responsibility, including direct client contact, and will offer the opportunity to handle a wide range of trust and estate matters. Location: Monterey, California Duties: Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney Administer trusts, handle probates, and manage conservatorship matters Manage trust and estate litigation as necessary Maintain regular client contact and provide legal advice throughout the process Handle a high volume of cases, ensuring timely and efficient case management Participate in professional and community activities to increase visibility within the legal field Requirements: Experience in Trusts & Estates law Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and handle complex matters Strong organizational, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills Experience working in a collaborative team environment Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Admission to the California State Bar Skills: Expertise in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and conservatorships Strong litigation experience in trust and estate matters Proficient in legal research and writing Effective communication and client relationship management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Collegial and supportive work environment Reasonable billable hours requirements Health and wellness benefits Opportunities for professional development and community involvement Company info
