Neonatology Physician

A facility in east-central Kentucky has an opportunity for a skilled Neonatologist to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Level II Special Care Nursery
• Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
• Patient Census: 10-15 per day
• Delivery Volume: 90 per month
• Duties: Rounding in special care nursery and well-baby nursery, attending deliveries if requested, leading resuscitation, and caring for infants at 32 weeks of gestation and above
• Required Procedures: Circumcisions, intubation, UVC/USC placement, and surfactant administration
• Support Staff: RNs
• EMR: Epic
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses
