Position Overview• Schedule:o Daytime: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMo Weekday Call: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AMo Weekend Call: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM• Setting: Split between clinic and hospital• Practice Mix: 100% Adult; 50% Outpatient, 50% Inpatient• Volume:o Clinic: 8 patients/dayo Hospital: 3 patients/day• Team:o 2 Physicianso 1 Advanced Practice Providero 2 LPNs and 1 MA (ancillary support)o Other neurologists will be present during assignment• Facility Resources: Lab and X-Ray onsite• Documentation: Epic / Connect Care
Clinical Expectations• Required Procedures:o Radiologic Exam Interpretation (unofficial)o EEG (Electroencephalogram)o Brain Death Examo EMG (Electromyogram)• Call Ratio: 15%
Requirements• Board Certified in Neurology• Active Virginia License and Virginia DEA• BLS Certification: Required• COVID-19 Vaccination: Preferred• Flu Vaccination: Required at time of credentialing
