The Opportunity

As a DevOps Platform Engineer at Booz Allen, you will focus on the critical integration of tactical software capabilities into robust cloud environments. In this role, you\'ll not only bring a deep understanding of cloud architecture and hands-on experience across all major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), you will also apply your expertise to support and modernize government financial systems.

You will be instrumental in developing and deploying scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that meet the rigorous performance, compliance, and security requirements of the public sector financial operations.

You Have

• 5+ years of experience as a platform or DevOps engineer supporting cloud-based applications
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience with AWS Cloud services and tools
• Experience with GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Experience with event streaming platforms, including Kafka, such as Confluent, Redpanda, or AWS MKS
• Experience in cloud-native application deployment, security best practices, and system integration
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor\'s degree

Nice If You Have

• Experience supporting or modernizing financial systems preferred
• Experience in supporting a multi-cloud environment
• Experience with Chaos and Site Reliability Engineering testing
• Knowledge of Crossplane for Kubernetes-native infrastructure management
• Associate or Professional level AWS, GCP, or Azure Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
