Overview
Manager, GTM Strategy & Insights role at Salesforce. This is a hands-on data role focused on uncovering the "what" and the "why" behind the Renewals GTM strategy, building the analytical foundation, and translating findings into strategic narratives to power GTM decisions.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
- GTM Analytics & Insights Foundation: Own the data pipeline and connection to the Snowflake data warehouse to enable self-service and advanced analytics. Design, build, and maintain a proactive dashboard suite to monitor business health and track KPIs (e.g., attrition hotspots, net new AOV trends, segment-level performance, renewal rate drivers).
- Data-Driven Strategy & Design: Provide foundational analytics informing GTM architecture and refinement, including customer segmentation, coverage models, and rules of engagement. Conduct quantitative analysis to identify untapped growth opportunities and model impact of different GTM motions.
- Analytical Forecasting & Planning: Develop data-driven inputs for annual/quarterly planning, build financial and operational models (headcount, capacity, ROI), and own long-range forecast with data-backed projections for key metrics (e.g., Renewal Rate, Attrition, Contract Term Length).
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in analytical roles such as GTM Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations.
- SQL & Snowflake: Advanced, hands-on expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries; direct experience with Snowflake is required.
- BI & Dashboards: Proven ability to design and build automated dashboards using Tableau or similar tools.
- Financial & Operational Modeling: Experience building models (forecasting, capacity planning, ROI) in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering).

- Technical Proficiency: SQL, Snowflake data warehousing; data visualization with Tableau or similar.
- Quantitative & Analytical Excellence: Strong financial modeling, statistical analysis, and BI principles.
- Problem Solving: Structured, hypothesis-driven approach to complex business problems with data.
- Data Storytelling & Influence: Ability to synthesize findings into a compelling narrative for business and executive audiences.
- Business Partnership: Credible analytical partner to stakeholders across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced analytical degree.
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment supporting Sales, Renewals, or Customer Success.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data structures and reporting.
- Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
