Responsibilities
Build a Culture of Working Back from the Customer
- Lead a growth-oriented sales culture to achieve store business performance results.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the Five Below service model that empowers the crew to say yes to customers.
- Anticipate customer needs and create an amazing store environment.
- Lead execution and maintenance of all merchandising and operational standards in alignment with Brand Standards.
Develop a High Performing Crew
- Hire and engage talented employees with the necessary skills for the right roles at the right time.
- Foster an inclusive culture where people feel cared for and connected.
- Inspire accountability through training, coaching, and consistent feedback to direct reports.
- Present facts clearly, coach effectively, and actively listen to inspire trust and respect.
- Partner with District Manager and Human Resources for coaching, performance documentation, and employee relations matters.
- Maintain a safe environment for customers and crew.
- Execute a talent plan to attract and retain quality candidates and make Five Below an employer of choice.
- Support career growth through development planning and performance coaching.
- Develop internal and external networks to support recruitment and succession planning.
Drive a Consistent Business
- Analyze business results and use metrics to drive performance in sales, customer experience, profitability, shrink, payroll, and staffing.
- Balance priorities with focus on what is critical.
- Develop and manage payroll budgets and crew schedules that balance financial responsibilities with customer expectations and crew availability.
- Ensure proper execution of financial controls and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee receiving, stocking procedures, and inventory compliance.
- Monitor merchandise flow and sell-through; perform store maintenance as needed.
- Adhere to Five Below Standard Operating Procedures and prioritize corporate communications.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including services.

Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
