ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Supplier Development Engineer, PCB/PCBA (internally: Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer) is a high-profile, cross-functional role that enables development and production flow of Anduril’s critical supply base. You will coordinate with internal engineering, quality, supply chain and manufacturing teams, and directly with suppliers to execute supply chain strategies that meet production goals. You will expedite qualification and implementation of product designs with suppliers, optimizing for quality, efficiency, and cost from early development through the product lifecycle.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own and manage the PCB/PCBA commodities/subcategories to execute supplier production (NPI to full production) strategies across Anduril’s business lines
  • Be a force multiplier for the Supply Chain team and overall commodity strategy with ownership, proactivity, technical excellence, creativity, self-direction, and courage
  • Vet suppliers’ production capabilities, factory layouts, facilities, and workforce for inclusion in Approved Supplier List
  • Support Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) to ensure suppliers meet part quality criteria
  • Lead bringing up new production tooling and lines at supplier sites to meet product performance, quality, and demand requirements
  • Own capacity expansion readiness and production ramp-up at supplier sites
  • Drive process performance and controls (SPC) reviews at suppliers
  • Identify and drive product and process improvements, factory layout optimization, and cost reduction to improve cycle time
  • Support SQE with root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions at supplier

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within manufacturing
  • Technical experience in PCBA manufacturing, IPC standards, SMT processing, CAD, GD&T
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Ability to relocate to onsite in Mountain View, CA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or metallurgical/materials engineering
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and certifications
  • Experience in high-tech, high-mix, low-volume product development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

US Salary Range

$128,000 - $192,000 USD

The salary range is an estimate based on various compensation factors. Actual offers may vary. Anduril offers equity grants and comprehensive benefits.
