We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Site Deployment Specialist to oversee the roll-out of electronic health record (EHR) software solutions at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). You will use a deep understanding of EHR systems, healthcare IT, project management, and software deployment processes. This role requires an execution-minded driver with a discipline to manage a schedule, an ability to identify and mitigate risk, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology for our country’s veterans.

Responsibilities
- This is a field-facing support role that assists with critical path success by helping to identify and mitigate site-level issues.
- Manage project responsibilities, including developing work plans and monitoring activities to ensure success.
- Facilitate the assessment, alignment, and optimization of clinical or functional areas to meet EHR Modernization (EHRM) pre-deployment requirements.
- Coordinate functional workflow configuration projects and efforts; align clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders across the organization.
- Apply principles of computer and information science to healthcare advancement, including clinical informatics; mentor or supervise employees as needed.
- Work on-site at Booz Allen or client facilities 20–50% of time, as needed (hybrid role).
- Support modernization and evolution of healthcare delivery for veterans.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the end-to-end deployment process for VA clients in the EHRM program
- Ability to travel domestically up to 75% of the time
- Ability to evaluate and improve deployment processes
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, functional, clinical, programmatic) to ensure successful EHR implementations
- Ability to create and maintain detailed project plans and timelines
- Ability to identify project risks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of health IT experience, or 15+ years of health IT experience in lieu of a degree

Compensation
Salary range is estimated from $86,800 to $198,000 (annualized USD). Eligibility for benefits depends on employment status and hours worked. This posting closes within 90 days from the Posting Date.
