Overview

INflow Federal is seeking a Senior Cyber Architect to join our team. Do you thrive on tackling complex cyber challenges and engineering resilient, secure systems? INflow is looking for cybersecurity leaders who can design, implement, and safeguard mission-critical solutions. You’ll play a pivotal role in protecting national defense systems, guiding security engineering teams, and shaping cyber strategies that outpace evolving threats.

Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead cyber & systems engineering teams and guide cybersecurity efforts from concept through sustainment
  • Drive CONOPS development, requirements allocation, cyber design engineering, cyber implementation, verification and validation, and continuous monitoring during deployment, operations, and sustainment
  • Architect defense-in-depth solutions through offensive architecture analysis and advanced cyber design
  • Integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines, enabling secure, agile software development and deployment
  • Perform application security evaluations by analyzing static and dynamic code scans against Application Security and Development STIGs
  • Develop and evaluate security documentation including system security plans (SSPs), security CONOPS, risk management matrices, security control traceability matrices, security test procedures, and plans of action and milestones
  • Conduct and interpret vulnerability assessments to confirm compliance with RMF controls and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Lead Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for DoD systems in alignment with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Required Skills

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a Cyber, Systems, Software, Electrical, Mechanical or similarly related engineering/technical discipline
  • 6+ year(s) related experience or equivalent experience, training and/or certifications
  • ISC2 CISSP (or equivalent)
  • Cyber Engineering and SecDevOps experience
  • Hands-on with A&A tools such as ACAS Nessus, SCAP Scanner, and STIG Viewer
  • Deep knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF, and industry best practices
  • Skilled in vulnerability assessment, risk mitigation, and control allocation
  • Strong engineering and leadership skills, with proven ability to build and lead effective teams

Preferred Experience

  • Additional certifications (CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with offensive security tactics, cyber FMECA, and threat/attack vector modeling
  • Proposal writing and cost analysis experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of containerization (OCI, Platform One, Iron Bank, Repo One)
  • Experience with cloud and cross-domain accreditations
  • Demonstrated leadership in supervising, mentoring, and building customer relationships
  • Proficiency with EVMS, CPI, IMS, and other project management tools
  • Experience coordinating and leading security test events, verifying vulnerability resolutions, and supporting proposal activities
  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills

Required Clearance

  • Active DoD TS/SCI (ability to obtain CI poly)
