We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHR Provisioning Analyst to oversee the roll-out of electronic health record (EHR) software solutions at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). You will use a deep understanding of EHR systems, healthcare IT, project management, and software deployment processes. This role requires an execution-minded driver with excellent communication skills, a discipline to manage to a schedule, an ability to identify and mitigate risk, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology for our country’s veterans.
You will support the VA government leads to ensure all activities to properly provision users leading up to EHRM-IO go-lives. This includes coordination between VA and the EHR system vendor leads. You will be responsible for the timeliness of the provisioning request process. You will validate data, as needed, to support the successful processing of requests, being sure to follow all processes and standard operating procedures that are in place. Further, you will ensure proper lists of users are provisioned for each event for a site.
You’ll apply a broad understanding of the principles of computer and information science to the advancement of healthcare, including clinical informatics. You’ll have the chance to apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts by helping to solve unusually complex problems with highly innovative solutions. Additionally, you may mentor or supervise employees. Work with us as we help modernize and evolve healthcare delivery for our veterans.
You Have
- Knowledge of the end-to-end deployment process for our VA clients in the EHR Modernization (EHRM) program
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Ability to evaluate and improve deployment processes
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, functional, clinical, and programmatic, to ensure successful EHR implementations
- Ability to create and maintain detailed project plans and timelines
- Ability to identify project risks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with health IT, or 13+ years of experience with health IT in lieu of a degree
