Senior Revenue Accountant

Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Revenue Accountant/Revenue Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment with lots of moving parts. This role is deeply operational—you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves, dig into high volumes of data, manage manual processes, and help transform them into more scalable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily revenue accounting operations including high-volume transaction processing and contract reviews.
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Lead or contribute to initiatives that enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability of revenue operations.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 software revenue accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience analyzing large and complex data
• Able to roll up sleeves and prepare month-end close tasks and heavy manual entries independently
• Perform UAT testing (NetSuite ARM)
• Understanding and connecting the dots between system changes and revenue impact

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting with strong operational involvement.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and experience reviewing complex customer contracts.
• Proficiency in NetSuite; experience working with AWS data environments and RevPro a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage large data volumes and tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented but also capable of stepping back to think strategically and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
