This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination.

Role

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses, with dedicated classes for SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. You will be taught foundational skills to acquire, build and manage client relationships, assess a client’s financial picture, and provide advice and solutions to help clients live their best financial lives, while humanizing financial interactions. After reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care. The Academy will provide ongoing support and development through the stages of your career.

Upon demonstrated success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you may progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II to deepen client relationships and grow a portfolio. The Academy supports you with programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

Responsibilities

  • Build a successful career at Bank of America through world-class training and onboarding programs.
  • Receive training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers.
  • Grow knowledge of client needs and provide appropriate solutions using a defined consultative approach.
  • Obtain SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66) with specified timelines: SIE within 30 days of hire; Series 7 & 66 within 120 days.
  • Build and leverage a network by engaging with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to meet clients’ financial needs.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Schedule

Monday–Friday Open availability required plus some Saturdays.
