Overview

The Senior Director, Digital Marketing and Demand Generation will serve as the strategic leader responsible for developing and executing RxSight’s global marketing vision. This role will focus on driving demand for the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), supporting the Light Delivery Device (LDD) sales funnel, and elevating RxSight’s brand worldwide. The Senior Director will oversee all aspects of branding, divisional marketing, demand generation, digital strategy, and competitive positioning. The individual will strengthen the team’s digital and funnel-building capabilities, validate and optimize agency partnerships, and expand the marketing organization over time to meet the company’s growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead RxSight’s marketing, brand strategy, and competitive positioning, ensuring a unified and differentiated narrative across all audiences.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to elevate the LAL brand as the lens of choice across prioritized patient profiles.
  • Build and scale integrated digital-first lead-generation programs (SEO, paid media, social, marketing automation) to support divisional and global sales funnels.
  • Develop omnichannel campaigns that engage physicians, practices, and patients, with a strong emphasis on SEO, SEM, paid social, content marketing, and marketing automation — complemented by in-person events.
  • Establish and continuously refine a marketing technology stack (CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools) to enable data-driven decision-making and measurable ROI.
  • Oversee agency partnerships, including identifying and onboarding a strategic marketing agency to complement existing partners.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Professional Education, Sales, and R&D to align marketing with adoption, training, and innovation goals.
  • Provide sales enablement tools, collateral, and messaging that empower field teams to drive adoption.
  • Develop localized strategies for international expansion, including market entry planning, brand adaptation, and global campaign scalability.
  • Implement analytics to track campaign performance, competitive trends, and customer insights.
  • Provide leadership to the current team by setting clear objectives, fostering development, and building out team capabilities across digital, brand, demand generation, and analytics.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Proven track record in brand building, digital marketing, and demand generation for innovative medical technologies.
  • Experience leading global marketing programs, including international launch planning and execution.
  • Deep expertise in digital funnel-building campaigns, marketing analytics, SEO/SEM, paid media, social advertising, and marketing automation.
  • Demonstrated success in agency selection, management, and integration.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.
  • Leader who can both scale a team and maximize the effectiveness of a lean structure.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading, developing, and expanding the marketing team to support global growth objectives.

Education, Experience, And Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 7 years in leadership roles.
  • Life sciences industry experience required; MedTech/ophthalmology strongly preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • None.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for sales funnel tracking and marketing automation.
  • Experience with marketing analytics and SEO/SEM platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, paid search tools, social media dashboards).
  • Comfort managing digital assets, content management systems, and marketing automation tools.

Performance Metrics

  • Growth in brand awareness, adoption, and preference for RxSight and the LAL.
  • Contribution of marketing programs to lead generation and sales funnel progression.
  • Effectiveness of agency partnerships and ROI from campaigns.
  • Development and buildout of a high-performing marketing team.
  • Scalability and strength of global marketing infrastructure supporting international expansion.
