Job Description

This job is responsible for leading and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include executing LOB or ECF processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include supporting the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation, and building out actions plans and milestones.

The Marketing & Digital Privacy Business Controls Manager is accountable for supporting the Privacy compliance activities across Consumer and Marketing and Digital and Specialized Consumer Client Solutions. This role will lead work efforts designing and building solutions to support new privacy regulations. This role will align to the central privacy team and manage the delivery of cross FLU solutions owned by Consumer and Marketing and Digital. Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and managing regulatory change projects
  • Responsible for proactive risk identification, project management, change adoption, and sustainability.
  • Responsible for reporting and consolation of project documentation and related compliance program activities.
  • Drive team level awareness, communication, and training related to changes required for regulatory compliance.

The Marketing & Digital Business Controls Manager will work directly with the legal, compliance, Consumer and Marketing and Digital and Specialized Consumer Client Solutions to identify, assess and ensure adherence to required compliance activities. Examples include defining impacted areas, documenting compliance requirements and managing the project delivery plan through implementation. The Business Control Manager is responsible for creating project plans, status reporting and timely communications to partners. This role may support execution of operational routines and change efforts across the M & D aligned functions as needed.

The ideal candidate will have proven change management experience and/or risk management experience. This role requires a leader with the ability to develop and maintain partnerships with compliance, legal and FLU partners. Core skills in this role include ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks, communicating clearly, coordination work and dependencies across multiple stakeholders and collaborating on both technical and nontechnical solutions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Consumer Privacy experience or other LOB
  • Experience with the UCRA tool
  • Understanding of the Enterprise Risk Framework
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines
  • Effectively adapts to changing circumstances

Responsibilities

  • Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
  • Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation
  • Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
  • Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews
  • Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting
  • Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews
  • Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting

Pay Transparency details

Pay range $104,000.00 - $156,200.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Benefits: This role is currently benefits eligible.
