We’re seeking a passionate and strategic marketer to lead Field Marketing for the Life Sciences business—one of Salesforce’s most important and fastest-growing industries. While this role is primarily focused on the AMER Life Sciences market, many of our customers are global, requiring close collaboration with teams across EMEA, APAC, and other global OUs to scale programs and drive consistent impact worldwide.
At Salesforce, the OU Marketing team is the primary marketing partner to Sales. We build and execute integrated marketing strategies that directly support pipeline generation, deal acceleration, and business growth. This role requires a strong cross-functional leader who can bring together stakeholders across the organization—Sales, Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Events, Campaigns, ABM, and more—to align around one shared vision and execute with excellence.
What Youinally Be Doing
- Act as the strategic marketing partner to the Life Sciences Sales Leader, deeply understanding the business priorities and helping drive pipeline growth and maturity.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, including demand generation, events, ABM, executive engagement, and digital programs tailored to the Life Sciences buyer.
- Collaborate across the broader HLS Marketing organization (including Product, Industry, and Field Marketing), aligning programs with the priorities of the Life Sciences Operating Unit.
- Manage and influence a wide array of stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product teams—bringing structure, clarity, and focus in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Partner with Sales Strategy and Marketing Operations to analyze the segment, identify growth opportunities, and deliver actionable insights.
- Own pipeline performance reporting and develop frameworks to communicate trends, insights, and impact to both Sales and Marketing leadership.
- Optimize and manage the Life Sciences OU Field Marketing budget, ensuring timely, strategic spend that delivers high ROI.
- Attend key meetings and events, including Sales QBRs, industry conferences, customer engagements, and internal strategy sessions.
Experience & Skills Required
- 7-10 years of experience in Marketing, with a focus on multi-channel campaign execution and demand generation.
- Proven success in Field Marketing or B2B Marketing roles that required strategic planning and close partnership with Sales.
- Strong track record of building and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to allocate and optimize budgets across multiple tactics and channels.
- 4+ years of experience partnering directly with Sales to align on goals, drive execution, and measure results.
- Ability to juggle multiple initiatives while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a comfort in navigating multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Proficiency with Salesforce products and experience using Salesforce reporting tools to track campaign and pipeline performance.
- Highly proactive, organized, and able to anticipate needs before they arise.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, including presentation development and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent change and evolving priorities.
- Experience in or understanding of the Health & Life Sciences industry, particularly the pharma or MedTech sectors.
- Experience with Account-Based Marketing, digital strategy, and events.
- Willingness to travel as needed for internal and external events.
