Warehouse Associate
Join our team as a Warehouse Worker where you will operate sit-down forklifts and handheld pallet jacks to supply materials to keep production moving smoothly. You will work with computer systems to manage orders and handle deliveries from major carriers. The role involves working with various products, including nuts, bolts, and swivels of wire, with some items weighing up to 50 pounds. Equipment is available to assist with heavy lifting. You will also be responsible for building kits for the production facility and handling basic shipping and receiving tasks.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down forklifts and handheld pallet jacks to supply materials.
Manage orders using computer systems after picking from paper sheets.
Work with products like nuts, bolts, and swivels of wire, with some items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Build kits for the production facility.
Perform basic shipping and receiving duties.
Essential Skills
Minimum 6 months of experience as a Warehouse Worker.
Minimum 6 months of forklift operating experience.
Experience with inventory, order picking, packing, material handling, RF scanner, loading, unloading, and data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
Good attitude and willingness to take direction and learn.

Work Environment
Work within a smaller team of 5 employees in a warehouse divided into three areas: motors, medium-sized objects like nuts and bolts, and a section for small nuts and bolts where shipping and receiving are conducted. Required personal protective equipment includes high-visibility clothing, steel-toe boots, and hard hats. You may occasionally need to move materials between the main facility and the warehouse, using a sit-down forklift or a gator for smaller pickups. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 6:30 AM to either 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM, with rotating early dismissal. Optional overtime is available on Saturdays.

This is a Contract-to-hire position based out of Blair, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
