Pay Information $2,757 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1.5 Years of Experience License: Must have license in hand before start date. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Telemetry and IV start skills required Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The unit consists primarily of medical patients with a small surgical case load. The patient population includes individuals with respiratory issues, infections, chest pain, and gastrointestinal conditions. There is a daily census of approximately 38 patients with a staffing ratio of 1:6. Nurses will be responsible for the management and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Starting IVs and monitoring telemetry will be essential functions of this role. Every other weekend shift is required. Travelers may be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Candidates must work during two out of three major holidays. Two supervisory references are required for submission. Essential competencies include strong patient assessment skills and effective communication.
