Job Title: Travel RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00-07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Antepartum/high-risk Labor and Delivery experience Description: Seeking ASAP start dates. Unit has 26 beds and 52 staff members. Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, three RNs, two CNAs, and one to three sitters. Night shift staffing includes a minimum of one charge nurse, three RNs, and one ORT. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:4 for antepartum patients and 1:1 or 1:2 for laboring patients. Type of equipment includes Alaris pumps, EMR Meditech, and CPN charting system. Typical procedures performed include caring for laboring patients, antepartums, C-sections, cerclages, and EDOB patients. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to work autonomously. Consideration will be given to candidates with mom-baby or couplet care experience.
