There are 29 staff members, including day shift Radiology Techs, Registered Nurses, Schedulers, and Surgical Aides. The team typically works four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Patient ratios are 3-4 staff to 1 patient. The unit is equipped with GE/Philips x-ray, Maclab/Cardiolab, Merge Hemo documentation, Merge Cardio, CSI, EKOs, Laser-Philips, IVUS-Philips, OCT-Abbott, Rotablator, Shockwave, and FFR/IFR. EMR used is Meditech. Cath Lab experience is essential. Candidates should also possess preferred knowledge in EP. Typical procedures performed in this unit include LHC, Peripheral procedures, Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Watchman/Amulet, TAVRs, Mitral Clips, EP Studies, EP Ablations, and Cardiomems. The ideal candidate is flexible with assignments and works well in a team environment. Floating between Cath Lab and EP is expected as part of the team. Call is required, averaging 8 days per month, which includes one weekend. Late days may average 5 per month, as the team stays to finish the last procedure if cases run late.
