Pay Information $2,218 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience required License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: ACLS BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience Patient ratio experience Description: Now offering charge pay. Local candidates are not accepted. Certification requirements include ACLS and BLS. Skillset requirements include experience in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown settings. Candidates must be proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Ability to access ports, manage blood product administration, and perform phlebotomy is essential. PICC line management and starting IVs is required. Must have experience in caring for ventilated patients. Familiarity with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and isolation precautions is necessary. Candidates must be comfortable with nasal cannula and oxygen face masks. Experience in tracheostomy management and stable home vents is preferred. Patient ratios are 4-5 on days and nights, including weekends. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The unit cares for adults and geriatric patients with a daily census of 18. Floating is required within the facility or to affiliate locations. 2 supervisor references are required. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. The educational institution must be accredited upon graduation.
