Must have experience with blood product administration, telemetry monitoring, and management of various medical conditions. Description: The position requires a registered nurse to float between medical/surgical units and telemetry. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of up to 1:8, which may allow for team nursing models with ratios exceeding 8. The role includes weekend coverage; every other weekend or two weekends per month is necessary. Travelers requesting time off during major holidays will not be accommodated. Floating between units is mandatory and aligned with clinical experience. Nurses will provide care to adult and geriatric patients with general med/surg diagnoses. The facility has interdisciplinary support from various health professionals. Candidates must have two years of current nursing experience in a similar role. Charting experience in Cerner is preferred, but not mandatory. Candidates should begin renewing necessary certifications if they are within 45 days of their expiration.
