ICU Registered Nurse Job Details Location: Morristown, NJ 07960 (New Jersey healthcare jobs) Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Medical Telemetry Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: September 29, 2025 End Date: December 27, 2025 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours/week, every 3rd weekend, 1 summer holiday, floating as needed Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2090 ICU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey - Required BLS (Basic Life Support) certification - Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification - Required Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience - Required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Preferred ICU Nurse Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for pediatric to geriatric populations in the ICU Deliver high-quality, compassionate direct patient care in a critical care setting Demonstrate proficiency with emergency equipment and critical care procedures Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress, and outcomes Foster a positive, patient- and family-centered environment Comply with National Patient Safety Goals and hospital protocols, including safe transfer and body mechanics Individualize care plans based on diagnoses, procedures, and anesthesia types Educate patients and families on ICU procedures, care plans, and post-operative instructions Support pre-admission testing and ensure timely completion of required patient testing Float to other nursing units as needed and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Apply now to join our dedicated ICU nursing team in Morristown, NJ, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
