ICU RN Job Details Assignment Type: Travel ICU Registered Nurse Location: Tucson, AZ 85741 (Arizona healthcare jobs) Facility Setting: Med Surg/Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Start Date: August 25, 2025 End Date: November 24, 2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3 shifts/week Total Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Floating: Willingness to float to nearby healthcare facilities within a 25-mile radius (advance notice provided) Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860 - $2210 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (Med Surg/Neuro ICU preferred) Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to adapt and float to different hospital units as needed ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced critical care equipment Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations Float to other hospital units or nearby healthcare facilities as required Discover the unique culture and natural beauty of Tucson, Arizona, while making a difference as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse.
