Job Description
6+ years of professional services (client-facing) experience in development and/or implementing large data warehousing (BI) projects. 3+ years of experience in implementing big data intensive application solutions. 3+ years of experience developing solutions utilizing the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie, Ambari, Zookeeper, etc. Good experience in data loading from RDBMS systems to HDFS using Sqoop and Flume. Experience analyzing data using HIVEQL, PIG Latin, and custom MapReduce programs in Java. Extending HIVE and PIG core functionality with custom UDFs. Experience resolving performance issues related to data movement within local data centers and cloud-based data services. Sun Certified in Java and Cloudera Hadoop certification is a huge plus.
