Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a client to find an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment and handle a diverse range of litigation cases in California. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of civil litigation processes and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings, providing legal advice and support throughout the legal process. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making. Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, striving to achieve favorable outcomes. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure cohesive case management. Prepare and present cases in court, including examining and cross-examining witnesses. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and client service. Keep informed of changes in legislation and legal precedents that may impact ongoing or future cases. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior legal staff when necessary.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar. 5+ years of experience in civil litigation practice. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively. Experience in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative legal team.

Salary Range:
$125,000 - $180,000 per year.
