General Position Summary

Responsibilities and expectations for the role include driving sales growth, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and upholding store operations in alignment with company policies.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

Generate sales gains by providing customer service and working to meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and offer feedback on strengths and opportunities in line with Company Objectives. Adhere to current visual guidelines including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Generate Sales: Produce sales gains by providing customer service and meeting/exceeding Company Objectives. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and give feedback within Company Objectives. Adhere to visual guidelines with proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain professional appearance per Dress Code Policy.

Control Expenses

Protect Company assets within LIDS Retail policies. Assist in store scheduling within wage guidelines and ensure proper store coverage. Manage inventory processes including receiving, transferring, price changes, and counts. Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping per LIDS policies and applicable laws. Open and close the store as required following Operations procedures. Adhere to all LIDS policies and guidelines.

Additional Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Supervise Associates: Participate in LIDS Training Programs, set goals for sales and tasks, and provide regular follow-up. Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, safeguarding inventory, funds, and property. Perform work of subordinates as needed and communicate with employees at all levels. Other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relative experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate a computer and relevant software. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and work with hands overhead. Standing required for up to 100% of the work time, and ability to work unsupervised.

Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary. PT roles may include monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
