The Director, Program & Project Management leads complex cross-functional projects, overseeing resources, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Manages teams, communicates with stakeholders, mitigates risks, and ensures projects are completed on time, within scope and budget. Drives process improvements and ensures quality outcomes aligned with business goals. Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span multiple lines of business as well as external vendors. Lead establishing best practices, procedures, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. Participate in staff performance reviews. Provide leadership and oversight in executing projects from planning to completion. Manage all aspects of project charter development to completion, to include documenting business needs, defining impact on all existing processes, and obtaining appropriate reviews/approvals. Advise about strategic and operational items within the project charter, business case and throughout the project meetings. Ensure all project documentation is conveyed to the relevant stakeholders on time. Identify, monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables. Identify risks, dependencies and constraints within the project. Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and manage changes as necessary. Plan, schedule and control activities to fulfill identified objectives applying the technical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements. Plan and implement moderate to some complex project plans and budgets. Manage any change requests from creation through completion. Track project plan performance to ensure timely delivery of all milestones and objectives. Develop and enforce integrated project plan to the appropriate level of detail and escalate when barriers present themselves. This includes the task interdependencies. Allocate work amongst team members and provide regular guidance. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders. Define statement of work and specifications necessary for requested goods and/or services. Establish and maintain high performing team and serve as the project advocate within the organization. Ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Ensure risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. Facilitate the development of processes/metrics to measure project results. Monitor post project activities to determine success of project; develop and recommend areas of improvement. Assist with design of project related enhancements by benchmarking processes and recommending methods to increase efficiency and effectiveness; re-engineer existing workflows as necessary. Evaluate alternative solutions and resolve project issues. Ensure all required project documentation necessary to support all aspects of the project through closure. Coach, mentor, and train junior PMs on any of the deliverables of the associate and/or project managers on the team. Experience / Education Needed

Bachelor’s degree in related field required. PMI certification required or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment 1+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects 3+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and IT within the organization Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills Experience in the banking industry preferred. Supervisory experience a plus The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000USD to $140,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
