Location: 718 Village Court, Santa Rosa, CA
Responsibilities
Prepares weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines; reviews time sheets and other payroll documentation for accuracy and submits as appropriate.
Promotes customer service by ensuring associates greet and assist customers; respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Supervises associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, reconciling cash receipts, or providing services for customers.
Models sales expectations by utilizing various techniques and communicating product knowledge; recommends merchandise or helps locate merchandise based on customer needs.
Maintains a visually appealing store with proper housekeeping, visual merchandising, and organization to a high standard.
Trains associates on visual merchandising techniques to ensure the store is well maintained.
Monitors associate sales activities and productivity; provides feedback, motivates, and trains associates to achieve full potential.
Performs financial activities in accordance with policy including cash handling, pricing changes, and merchandise handling; ensures register transactions are accurate and policy-compliant.
Manages operational processes including inventory receipt/dispatch, daily replenishment, and physical inventories.
Ensures store operations are safe and efficient and the store is in working order and adequately maintained.
Supports compliance with applicable laws, loss prevention policies, operating procedures and controls; conducts associate training as needed to reinforce controls.
Assists in recruiting, hiring, and development of store associates; interprets KPI reports and delivers coaching; provides feedback for performance appraisals.
Other duties as assigned/required.
This position may be found in multiple brands. Some duties may vary from brand to brand.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years old or older
Minimum 3 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
Able to travel to stores throughout the district
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
Ability to communicate with customers, stand and maneuver on sales floor and stockroom, operate register, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, handle merchandise, climb, reach, push/pull
Regular attendance is essential
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation The wage range for this position is $21.87 to $27.35. Successful candidates’ wage rates will be determined based on their qualifications for the position.
