As the Sr. SAP MES Functional Lead, you will manage the design, development and implementation of SAP MES/MII projects and new functionalities connected to Kuiper Enterprise Systems (ERP - S4 HANA) that allow for the rapid development and production of Space Hardware. Collaborate with business customers, companion system functional owners, solution architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and dependable systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing. Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FS) and review test documentation. Work in compliance with programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner. Build SAP ME and SAP MII based solutions and handle deployment activities. Build reports and deployments. Integrate with ERP and Shop Floor Systems. Lead the solution design and develop SAP MII applications to populate real and historical data from data sources such as SAP S/4 HANA and shop floor systems for reporting and analysis. Support improvements for areas including SAP PP-PI, QM, MM, PM, PCo, and Scheduling. Develop requirements and Functional Specs for web applications using SAP MII, PCo, Kepware, and SAP S/4 HANA. Develop printing labels, travelers documents, and purchase order receipts labels, process order receipts, and shop floor forms in MII. Support various testing procedures (Unit testing, Integration testing, classroom testing, shop floor testing, automated test scripts). A day in the life

You will conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and improvements. Collaborate with functional owners, architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing. Review program codes and correct MII program errors. Maintain and update existing program codes as needed. Develop technical specifications and estimations for assigned projects. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner. About The Team

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Our team focuses on building Enterprise System Applications for manufacturing satellites. Your customers are Manufacturing, Operations and the Supply Chain teams at Kuiper. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product Experience managing technical products or online services Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
