CGS is seeking an experienced senior-level Information Technology Enterprise Architect to support the IT mission of a large-scale government enterprise. The role involves collecting information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment, with knowledge of PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI. Base pay range
$126,186.67/yr - $171,253.34/yr Employment Type: Full-Time, Senior-Level Responsibilities
Understand an organization’s technologies and work with leaders to collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment. Demonstrate senior IT competency with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI. Apply and integrate various EA frameworks (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF) to provide a holistic enterprise view for system owners, planners, designers, developers, and subcontractors within budget constraints. Contribute engineering expertise in Windows desktop applications, remote access, SQL Server, VMware, SAN storage, cloud services, networking, security, and related technologies. Support ITIL processes, project management (PMI), Agile practices, and change control activities. Provide technical recommendations and enhancements from prior system integration projects. Display strong written, verbal, and interpersonal negotiation skills and work independently with limited guidance. Qualifications
Experience as an IT Enterprise Architect with ability to articulate cross-functional technology perspectives and budgets. Strong interpersonal, professional maturity, and senior-level IT competency; effective communication and collaboration with leaders. Experience with EA frameworks (Zachman, TOGAF) and knowledge of IT governance, budget considerations, and enterprise-wide planning. Hands-on experience with Windows environments, remote access, SQL Server, VMware, SAN/storage, cloud services, VoIP (BroadWorks), mobile platforms (iOS/Android), and information security. Familiarity with ITIL, PMI project management, Agile, and change control processes. Ability to provide engineering guidance for system integrations and technical projects. Preferred/Ideal
VMware server and VDI experience. Knowledge of PKI; experience with Windows Server versions (e.g., 2003 Terminal Server, 2008R2). Experience with Cisco UCS, BroadWorks, Polycom, BlackBerry, and mobile OS ecosystems. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; ITIL and CISSP certifications. About CGS and Benefits
