Associate Director, Raw Materials Planning

Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
Fraser Dove International is partnering exclusively with a leading life sciences organisation. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility in New Hampshire.
Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to head their raw material planning operations and drive end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
Your objectives:
Lead and develop a high-performing team of 7–10 planners to ensure material availability and planning excellence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean methodologies and KPI monitoring.
Build strong vendor relationships to improve supply performance, minimise disruptions, and maintain GMP compliance.
What you will do:
Lead raw material planning, procurement, and inventory operations to ensure uninterrupted production.
Manage supplier relationships, conducting quarterly business reviews and driving performance improvements.
Ensure planning processes adhere to GMP, FDA, and safety regulations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Production, and Logistics to resolve issues and align on priorities.
Drive Lean Six Sigma projects and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Analyse supply chain data to proactively mitigate risks and optimise inventory.
Utilise SAP or equivalent ERP systems for demand-supply alignment and planning efficiency.
What you will bring:
7+ years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or inventory management.
3+ years in a leadership role with a proven track record of managing teams.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills in a GMP-regulated environment.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt certification preferred).
Proficiency in SAP (MM/PP modules) or similar ERP systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
APICS/CPIM certification and advanced data analytics skills (Power BI, Tableau) are preferred.
