The Associate Director, Supply Planning position is responsible for the operations and strategic design of the US Medical Device & Aesthetics businesses global supply planning organization, supporting significant revenue streams. Ability to translate demand into inventory and replenishment plans, develop short and long-term inventory and assurance of supply strategies, conduct scenario planning and risk mitigation, manage replenishment activities with AbbVie sources and external manufacturers, and communicate inventory/timing with affiliates and customers. Lead strategic programs to enhance planning capabilities and manage cash flow. This role is part of AbbVie\'s Global Supply Planning leadership and requires collaboration across functions. Responsibilities
Lead the US Medical Device & Aesthetics supply planning team and manage activities to maintain product availability while balancing strategic and financial needs of each brand. Drive resolution of supply disruptions, capacity constraints, and other issues impacting product availability; communicate challenges to senior leaders. Lead strategic programs to enhance planning capabilities; develop business cases for change with senior management. Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities; sponsor projects to implement improvements. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Distribution & Logistics, Operations Brand Management, Demand Planning, Commercial, Quality, Internal Manufacturing & Engineering, External Supply, Finance). Oversee collaboration between Supply Planning and manufacturing sites, including external suppliers, to ensure successful joint planning processes. Deliver short- and long-term financial, customer service, and other performance goals for the Supply Chain organization. Be a member of the Global Supply Planning leadership team; assist with global strategy development and deployment. Motivate, coach, and develop managers and supervisors; promote AbbVie culture and maintain a positive, high-motivation environment. Qualifications
Bachelors required; MBA strongly preferred. 10+ years of experience in Operations, with strong experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing; experience in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment desired. Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices experience required. Excellent leadership and people management experience. Strategic mindset with ability to think at an enterprise level; strong communication skills and executive presence for interactions with senior leaders. Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders; proven success in leading effective teams and cross-cultural collaboration. Proven ability to manage, implement, and influence large change management programs. Education & Requirements
Bachelor or Master in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Management required; MBA strongly preferred. Location: Florham Park, New Jersey. Salary range: $137,500 - $261,000 (base pay range may vary by location and other factors). Additional Information
