We are seeking a full-time General Manager at IHOP. The role offers a competitive wage and benefits for full-time employees, including health insurance. The schedule will vary depending on the needs of the restaurant. Responsibilities
Handle a wide variety of responsibilities including executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives to support the restaurant’s success. Manage the restaurant floor and maintain regular contact with guests; address guest complaints professionally and promptly within acceptable limits. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the unit. Recruit, train, and retain employees; coach staff; document performance issues and administer the restaurant hourly compensation plan. Adhere to current SOP and operations plan; monitor and improve ongoing coaching and performance. Ensure food meets SOP specifications, recipes, plating, garnishes, and is served at appropriate temperatures within standard ticket times. Maintain adequate supplies (food, paper, kitchen, safety, janitorial, uniforms, linen, and miscellaneous items); order food timely and keep inventory to a minimum to avoid out-of-stock items. Oversee the operational condition of equipment and the building; ensure compliance with regulations and SOP; manage sanitation practices and security measures. Implement national and local marketing promotions and complete required reports and paperwork for proper documentation and communication within the organization. Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent Ability to speak and read English Basic math skills Benefits
