This position plays a crucial role in the success of our retail operations. Customer Service Specialists engage directly with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, address inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. They are committed to promptly resolving any customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, while staying informed about product features and upholding the store's high visual and quality standards. Achieving outstanding customer service while consistently meeting sales targets is a key responsibility.
Position Details:
The selected candidate will work at Store #3239, located at: 926 26th St SE, Watertown, SD 57201. This is a full-time role, with a starting pay of $16.50 per hour.
Essential Duties:
Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
Assist customers both in-person and over the phone by understanding their needs and presenting relevant products and services.
Establish and nurture trustful relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
Consistently meet and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales objectives.
Maintain organized work order files and precise formulas.
Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse per customer requests.
Mix and tint products to meet customer specifications.
Restock shelves and create visually appealing displays.
Ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency of store equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as necessary.
Keep assigned areas in-stock and presentable.
Stay knowledgeable about product offerings to effectively discuss available options with customers.
Adhere to inventory control protocols.
Propose strategies to enhance sales.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship for a visa.
Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
A High School diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
Experience selling paint and paint-related products.
Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
Ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish.
