Debt Finance Associate

Posted on Aug 04, 2025 Valid Through Sep 03, 2025 Profile Job Overview: A highly regarded law firm is seeking associates with 2 to 6 years of experience to join its sophisticated Debt Finance Practice Group. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-value financing transactions, primarily representing private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers. Ideal candidates will have experience with leveraged lending, acquisition financings, and complex capital structures across a broad range of industries. Location: Duties: Structure, document, and negotiate secured and unsecured lending transactions Represent borrowers and/or lenders in senior, mezzanine, and subordinated debt matters Support acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations Advise on loan restructurings, amendments, and workouts Draft and review credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, and security documentation Collaborate with private equity clients, company-side borrowers, and co-counsel Contribute to closing and post-closing processes in complex deal environments Requirements: 2–6 years of relevant experience in debt finance, leveraged lending, or banking law Transactional experience involving both borrower and lender representations preferred Exposure to acquisition financing and private equity-driven deals is highly desirable Familiarity with capital structures, term sheets, and market standards in commercial lending Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Strong academic credentials required Certifications: Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Skills: Excellent drafting and negotiation skills Strong understanding of commercial lending and financial structuring Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication abilities Highly organized and attentive to detail Competitive salary structure based on experience and firm compensation policies Comprehensive benefits package available to all attorneys and legal staff Company info BCG Attorney Search 1750 Montgomery St Fl 1 San Francisco California United States 94111 Phone :
