The Senior Director, Institutional Giving & Impact is responsible for securing ambitious financial resources from institutional funders to achieve organizational revenue goals. The Senior Director works closely with other TWS Giving & Impact and Program staff to secure support for TWS’s conservation priorities. They lead their channel in identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship of current and prospective foundation and corporate donors who can and will make significant gifts to TWS. They are also responsible for managing relationships and securing support from a portfolio of funders and prospects to support the mission of The Wilderness Society. Responsibilities
Secure ambitious financial resources from institutional funders to achieve organizational revenue goals. Work closely with other TWS Giving & Impact and Program staff to secure support for TWS’s conservation priorities. Lead the channel in identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship of current and prospective foundation and corporate donors who can and will make significant gifts to TWS. Manage relationships and secure support from a portfolio of funders and prospects to support the mission of The Wilderness Society. Serve as part of the Giving & Impact Leadership Team, working with other Sr. Directors and the VP to ensure that philanthropy is understood across the organization and that the philanthropic voice informs major organizational decisions.
