Sets up, operates, and troubleshoots machinery in the manufacturing environment. Sets up machines according to work orders and standard procedures for company products and processes. Learns setup and operation of any new machines added to assigned departments. Assists supervision and lead personnel in training Machining Tech I and II. Checks parts with standard gauges or precision measuring instruments and submits parts for inspection as required. Operates machines to ensure proper functioning and releases parts to operators with instructions to produce parts in conformance with specifications. Performs SPC Charting as required. Keeps the work area clean, safe, and orderly on a daily basis. Performs other tasks as required and cross-trains others as requested. Certifies for tests (CTT, Load Test, etc.) where applicable. Demonstrates self-initiative and contributes to meeting department goals. Operates multiple machines where applicable. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 3 years total experience. Certified in Lock Out/Tag Out. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Access to export-controlled items; employment offers conditioned on ability to lawfully obtain access. Benefits/Salary
