DoorDash is evolving beyond food delivery to expand into new categories, markets, and earning opportunities. As our platform grows in scale and complexity, maintaining trust and integrity is essential. We’re investing in industry-leading fraud defenses to ensure a safe, seamless experience for every customer, Dasher, and merchant. You will lead the strategy and execution for ATO prevention, Identity Intelligence and Fraud Platform, including Anomaly Detection—critical infrastructure that secures user access, verifies identity, and protects platform integrity across all products and verticals. You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, Risk Operations, and Customer Experience teams to build and evolve fraud detection and defense systems that protect millions of users daily. You will report to the Director of Trust, Safety & Integrity within the Customer Experience and Fraud organization. Own the roadmap for ATO prevention, Identity Intelligence and Fraud Platform (Rules Engines / Anomaly Detection), focusing on data quality, automation, and decision velocity—building detection infrastructure, signals, and decisioning systems that protect user accounts at scale. Launch real-time fraud defenses that leverage behavioral biometrics, device intelligence, and ML-based risk scores. Unify fraud signals across surfaces into a self-serve risk data platform enabling flexible, real-time decisions by ML, Strategy & Ops, and Analytics teams. Advance rules engine flexibility, reliability, and scalability for faster iteration, safer deployments, and greater control over detection logic. Drive development of Anomaly Detection and triage platform, delivering autonomous detection, mitigation, and end-to-end observability. Design secure user flows that preserve trust and enable fast, frictionless access and recovery for legitimate users. Lead incident response workstreams during high-impact fraud spikes and coordinate post-mortem initiatives. Define and own key metrics such as ATO rate, identity signal coverage, false positive rate, recovery conversion, and user trust perception. Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Data Science, Risk Ops, and CX to deliver high-impact security and trust outcomes. We’re Excited About You Because…

You have 7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of owning and scaling ATO prevention, Identity Intelligence products, and Fraud Platform capabilities. You have proven experience with behavioral biometrics, device fingerprinting, and signal enrichment techniques to verify user identity and prevent fraud. You have experience building fraud platforms and tools that support decision-making at scale, such as alerting systems, configurable workflows, or data-driven evaluation engines. You bring a strong understanding of fraud detection signals and scoring frameworks (e.g., risk scoring, velocity checks, IP reputation), with experience applying them to real-time decisioning systems. You’ve led complex cross-functional efforts across Engineering, Data Science, Risk Ops, and CX, and can navigate ambiguity to drive execution. You care deeply about building trusted, secure experiences for customers—balancing friction, performance, and platform safety at scale. The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $193,800—$285,000 USD. Base salary is localized by work location. In addition to base salary, opportunities for equity grants are available.
