Overview
Siemens Digital Industries Software (DI SW) is expanding Artificial Intelligence offerings across its product portfolio. A central Data & AI Program coordinates and supports AI initiatives. We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join as a Principal Product Manager, reporting to the Global AI Program Manager. This is a cross-segment AI Program role requiring collaborative engagement across all DI SW Segments & Product Lines, GS&CS, Partnership team, Legal, and other functions, with collaboration across Siemens Business in DI, FT and IT. Your Responsibilities: Definition & alignment of overall AI vision & strategy across DI SW business segments. Define & coordinate concrete wins across the portfolio. Monitor competitive & market dynamics and apply insights to AI strategy and positioning. Demonstrate thought leadership and communicate product direction to customers and partners. Collaborate with Strategy, Industries, Sales, Services, Technology Office, Marketing, and product segments to solicit feedback, balance priorities, and identify compelling solutions for the market. Collaborate with Segment Product teams to create standardized responses to customer queries on AI offerings. Own product management responsibilities for cross-business product offerings. Coordinate activities with Product Managers from multiple business/product lines. Support & participate in monetization initiatives & workstreams, focusing on pricing and packaging of AI offerings. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all AI capabilities across all businesses. Support engagements with Partners (e.g., hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft). Skills & Abilities Required: Strong background in both business and technical roles. Able to connect with senior management and corporate level customers. Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills. Ability to work autonomously on multiple highly sophisticated projects simultaneously. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (MBA is a strong plus). 10+ years of relevant & demonstrable work experience in Technical Product Management. 10+ years of enterprise software & technology experience. 5+ years of cross-organization engagement & ability to interface with internal and external customers of varying technical abilities (Development, Sales, Services, Partners, etc.). Ability to proactively identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues across departmental boundaries. Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Understanding of evolving AI technologies Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Agents, Agent Frameworks. Understanding and experience with modern enterprise data & integration architectural patterns. Deep industrial knowledge and experience in one or more sectors; Enterprise / IT, PLM, OT.
