The Technology Foundations team is a key part of the overall Technology team at lululemon, providing a portfolio of core engineering platforms leveraged by all technology teams. It is focused on strategy and outcomes related to technology platforms, shared services, and engineering experiences (including Kubernetes, Kafka, Cloud foundations, Secrets, APIM, Databases, CI/CD, and more).
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and a 12-24 month roadmap for Technology Core Engineering platforms and services, based on business priorities (for example, cost efficiency, frictionless experience, service continuity, and compliance standards). Serve as a voice of internal stakeholders as features are being developed
Defines how your specific product(s) align with the overall Technology strategy, what technology / business problems need to be solved and what inputs are required
Responsible for defining the business case, investment requirements & return on investment for products or teams within their portfolio
Approves high-level requirements, acceptance criteria and KPI\u2019s that push the product strategy forward and achieve key objectives for Technology Foundations platforms and services
Approves prioritization & sequencing for features/themes & defines prioritization frameworks for Technology Foundations platforms and services
Reviews and approves direct report’s quarterly plans, ongoing intake and replanning, and plays an active role in unblocking teams as needed
Make data-informed decisions based on a sound understanding of organizational priorities, customer feedback, analytics, benchmarks, industry reporting and emerging trends
Identify the need to adjust plans based on their portfolio and replan work based on their portfolio
Approves business value impacts definition for initiatives and the success of features and enhancements that are delivered
Manage both internal and external partnerships on programs from concept-to-delivery to ensure that products and roadmap priorities meet customer expectations and needs
Manage and / or mentor a team of 5-7 product managers (full time & contract) directly, or as part of a larger organization, across multiple geographies
Ensures product managers communicate approach for product roadmaps, measure and report out on product features success, and plan for / deliver change management materials
Identify and monitor customer/stakeholder needs staying current on industry standards and trends and respond by adjusting user experience and product roadmaps
Partner with central product management teams to define operating models and ways of working for the regional team
Approves recommendations on impact to change and drives change management activities to ensure business continuity
Qualifications
10+ years of technology product management experience with an emphasis on delivering technology-facing applications. Up to 5 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of product management experience.
7+ years of leadership experience and ability to lead through direct reports (3-4), dotted line relationships and cross functional collaboration
Collaboration across multiple disciplines (digital to supply chain to FP&A)
Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, enterprise-scale initiatives in an agile environment.
Experience with cloud technologies, engineering platforms, or software development lifecycle
Strong core consulting skills (demonstrated track record of quality delivery, interpersonal and cross-functional relationship skills)
Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering executive level presentations
Ability to drive results independently, but thrives in collaborative environments
Has a deep desire to learn and improve by seeking, accepting and acting on productive feedback
Demonstrated leadership; mentorship, visionary, clarity of purpose, motivated, relentless execution
Minimum BA / BS degree from a four-year accredited university (advanced degree preferred)

Compensation and Benefits Package lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from
$190,400-$249,900
annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
