As a Network Engineer on our team, you’ll work with the Program Management Office to provide network architecture design and system operational support to other systems, establish requirements, develop and evaluate technical solutions and architecture designs, and perform solutions analyses. You will analyze the design of an enterprise migration and implementation plan for data centers, remote access connections, cross-domain solutions, network ports, protocols, and services configurations while meeting current network requirements. You will provide Tier III network support, monitor operational communications systems and circuits, troubleshoot, and restore actions for outages. You will analyze network activity and performance to identify issues and develop automated configuration management software solutions, including SD-WAN and whitebox networking solutions. Collaborate with SMEs in cybersecurity, engineering, QA, and operations to shape network requirements and participate in acquisition planning for network components. Support interoperability across platforms and hardware/software acquisition. Share your enterprise network design and configuration experience to support critical national and global security missions. You Have
5+ years of hands-on experience configuring network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) Experience delivering network engineering artifacts (templates, configuration guides, diagrams) Knowledge of L2-L4 networking protocols Ability to travel to OCONUS locations up to 30% of the time Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Security+ and Cisco CCNA or CCNP certifications Nice If You Have
Experience with Navy Enterprise Networks (NMCI, NGEN, ONE-Net, CANES) Experience with software-defined networking Experience with network automation Experience with Network Access Control solutions (Forescout or Cisco ISE) Experience with networking tools (SolarWinds) Clearance

Salary range: $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
