Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Managing Medical director is responsible for monitoring and improving the level of care for patients. Managing Medical Directors are responsible for participant care, clinical outcomes, and the implementation and oversight of quality assessment, performance improvement, and performance management. Medical directors will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), quality leadership, and other executive management teams to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve medical practice. Expected pay : The position has a salary range of $169.77 - $212.21/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position. Monitor and improve the level of care for patients. Oversee participant care, clinical outcomes, quality assessment, performance improvement, and performance management. Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), quality leadership, and other executive management teams to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve medical practice. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Doctorate-Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Experience: 3 years experience as a postgraduate licensed physician; 3 years' experience in clinical leadership or applicable leadership/management experience. Licensure/Certification: Physician License. Other Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: N/A Experience: 5-10 years experience as a postgraduate licensed physician; 5 years experience in clinical leadership, including hospital and/or ambulatory administration experience. Demonstrated ability to collaborate at all levels, and to identify, communicate, and solve problems in complex situations.
