The Air Force (AF) Special Access Program (SAP) Security Support Services (SSS) assists the AF cognizant security authority in oversight of enhanced National Security Objectives supporting AF SAP interests through active and integrated security operations, processes, mechanisms, and management. This support provides multi-disciplinary security support, including specialized analytical/program protection support, while being responsive and flexible to dynamic SAP security situations. Develops and implements security documentation and plans including Concept Validation Request (CVR), Construction Security Plan (CSP), Pre-Con/Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC), construction oversight Standard Operating Procedures, and all TEMPEST documentation. Conducts periodic security inspections for the duration of the project to ensure compliance with the CSP and Accrediting Official (AO) requirements. Documents security violations or deviations of the CSP and notifies the AO within required timeframes. Coordinates with construction firms to ensure security of the construction site, materials, equipment, site access, and compliance with CSP requirements. Works with the AO to mitigate construction and physical security strategies to counter security and counterintelligence threats. Ensures adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, applicable UFCs, and SAP policies. Provides day-to-day SSM security staff oversight, including assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and recommendations for policy, procedures, and systems improvements. Ensures timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff. Ensures the construction project meets ICD 705 Tech Spec, UFC 4-010-05, and customer requirements. Attends project planning meetings, design reviews, and contractor progress/planning meetings to provide security input and ensure compliance with customer requirements and ICD 705 Tech Spec. Ensures photo documentation is completed for the life cycle of the construction project and retained in accordance with regulations. Evaluates proposed SCIF and Special Access Program Facility spaces for threats, vulnerabilities, and assets to determine appropriate countermeasures for physical and technical security. Briefs all levels of personnel, government and senior civilian services, on a variety of security topics. Proficient in professional briefings, technical writing, and correspondence. Ensures policy requirements are implemented; advises AO of compliance and variances. Delivers Intrusion Detection Reports, Sound Transmission Class (STC) Reports, and Radio Frequency (RF) Testing Reports to the accrediting official. Develops accreditation documentation including FFC, TEMPEST Checklist, Compartmented Area Checklist (if required), Co-Utilization Agreements, Accreditation Memorandums, Controlled Area Designation Letters (if required), Common Operating Authorization Letters (if required), SOPs, and Emergency Action Plans. Provides leadership, performance mentoring, and administrative oversight of team members. Knowledge And Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience or 7 years of related experience without a degree. 1 year of experience for each SPeD certification. Maximum equivalent experience for SPeD certifications/credentials will be no more than 3 years. Certification/credential examples: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) Special Program Security Credential (SPSC) Security Program Integration Professional Certification (SPIPC) Physical Security Certification (PSC) Industrial Security Oversight Credential (ISOC) Antiterrorism Credential (ATC) Experience with physical security, personnel management and/or construction management. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and handle a variety of responsibilities with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related programs. Ability to operate under minimal supervision. Complete additional safety training and/or certification as required by local site (e.g., OSHA 30 Construction Safety, OSHA Fall Protection, OSHA Confined Space) within the first 90 days of hire. Must obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course within the first 30 days of hire. Must be able to pass a Site Security Manager Certification course within the first 12 months. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs to examine product deliveries. Must be able to walk long distances and up and down stairs. Desired: Industry-accepted Site Security Manager certification; Former Construction Surveillance Technician; Industry-accepted Commercial Blueprint Reading certification. Equal Opportunity Employer.
