A Senior Software QA Engineer vocalizes risk areas during the product development cycle. You will design, engineer, maintain, and execute testing solutions as the owner of one or more technology areas. Equally important is a strong aptitude for learning new technologies with a good instinct for discovering defects in a complex software ecosystem. Responsibilities
Developing test automation frameworks and end-to-end tests to deliver quick, effective, and repeatable testing against our cloud platform. Handle coordination with cross-functional test engineering teams to ensure adequate test coverage of complex features is expected. Involved in testing AI model's ability to make correct predictions, handle various inputs and scenarios, and maintain consistent performance over time. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of quality engineering experience in modern web technologies B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience Proven experience designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for AI-powered features and applications Experience with test automation development, tools, and framework knowledge Ability to validate the accuracy, robustness, and performance of AI/ML models Preferred Qualifications
Master's in Computer Science or equivalent Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, REST APIs Being able to run evaluate and automate AI performance of AI models Possess a solid understanding of CI/CD and agile SDLC concepts: TDD, continuous test, and delivery Skilled with git, branching processes, and release coordination Excellent collaborator with cross functional teams Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apples Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
