As a Lead Laravel Developer, youll take ownership of the backend PHP team, providing both technical direction and mentorship. Youll play a critical role in shaping engineering decisions, guiding architecture, and ensuring projects are executed with precision. Beyond clean code, youll be building robust APIs, collaborating cross-functionally, and deploying systems that scale for enterprise and global clients. Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers. Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features. Drive architectural decisions around performance, scalability, and implementation. Ensure applications are performant, reliable, and user-friendly. Stay ahead of industry trends and apply them to our evolving stack. Qualifications
Strong backend expertise with Laravel and PHP. Familiarity with AWS and cloud environments. Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced startup. Strong communication skills and passion for mentoring junior developers. Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related field) Nice-to-Haves
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to WebSockets, real-time systems, or video content platforms. QA experience in high-paced environments. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Seniority level
