Operate with a high degree of autonomy, technical leadership, and project ownership. Architectural Ownership and Design: translate business needs into well-architected, scalable, and secure architectures. Project and Delivery Leadership: act as a Team Lead and own deliverables from discovery to deployment. Mentorship and Technical Bar-Setting: mentor other engineers and define high coding standards. Cross-Functional Influence: collaborate with Engineering Managers, business stakeholders, and Product Owners; articulate feasibility, benefits, and risks; drive technical initiatives across teams. Future-Forward Technical Skills: contribute to AI-first initiatives, build agents, and leverage AI workflow tools; proficiency with agentic platforms and open-source libraries is valued. Strategic Influence on Technology Roadmap: identify opportunities and influence long-term architectural improvements. Operating in Ambiguity: distill broad problems into concrete technical projects. What You’ll Bring To The Role
4+ years of software development experience with Java, Python, or equivalent. 5+ years’ hands-on Salesforce development with Apex, Process Automation, and LWC. Experience in architecture, design, and implementation of high-complexity projects for Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud Console; secure solutions leveraging native Salesforce practices. Experience with CI/CD, Salesforce DX, Jenkins or equivalent. Compensation and Benefits
Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave in accordance with plans and policies.
