Project Coordinator, Expert Vaccine Analysis Team - Georgetown University Medical Center Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation's capital. Responsibilities

Coordinate the day to day E-VAT activities including internal and external meetings and briefings

Develop and manage existing and new relationships with diverse journalists and media, both mainstream and social

Assess the needs of, and develop partnerships with, other stakeholders and organizations engaged in producing or using relevant health and science information (e.g. professional societies, immunization groups and advocates, state and local and international health authorities and organizations)

Write and edit clear, science-based materials for articles, web posting and social media, including working with science, health and communications students/trainees

Track, assess, and communicate the outputs and impacts from E-VAT's work

Help develop and carry out efforts to raise financial and other support for E-VAT and partnership activities

Requirements and Qualifications

Undergraduate degree; a Master’s in a health or communications related area is optional but preferred

5 or more years of experience post-baccalaureate

Documented skills and experience in the clear writing and communication of complex scientific and/or health related information at various levels

Proven ability to build relationships and positively interact with project teams and outside organizations and collaborators

Basic knowledge of the life sciences relevant to vaccines; ability to read scientific papers and experience working in areas directly relevant to public health and vaccines are preferred

Work Mode This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed to meet the evolving needs of the University.

Pay Range $66,783.00 - $126,720.23

Compensation is determined by factors including qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and the University's needs.
